this isnt an art-related journal update... I have done some things but my muse has gone on vacay before I could finish each and everytime. D=

Today's the 21st (obv.) so that means theres 3 days until my birthday and Im kind of excited but not really.. According to my mom, Ive already gotten everything shes going to be giving me and I have no idea what Im getting from my grandparents.. hopefully they're gonna be uber generous and give me money this year... I got a cedar hope chest from the last year for my birthday so who knows.. I have to remember to call my Uncle Mickey on the 24th and wish him a happy birthday. I know.. we share the same birthday, innit cool? haha

So while I was at work yesterday or sometime yesterday, I got a phone call from Kohl's inviting me to come to their job booth to hear about the part time positions. I really want to work somewhere other then Macys but I dont want to miss out on the Holiday commish at Macys by leaving now. I wonder if they'll let me come to Kohl's in January.. hmmm... I dunno. I guess i'll go and see what the part time position is all about first of all then I'll decide... I might go now if it means more hours and theres commission.

I had heard from Kohls earlier in the month... I'd gotten a letter that said "Thank you for applying and interviewing with Kohls Department Stores. At this time we arent able to offer you a full time position. However, we would like to keep you in the running for a part-time position."

The only way Im leaving Macys to go to Kohls if if the part-time hours is at least 20-25 and if there is commission. Because I make 9.5/hr + commission at Macys and my top rate is 14.53.
