this isnt an art-related journal update... I have done some things but my muse has gone on vacay before I could finish each and everytime. D=

Today's the 21st (obv.) so that means theres 3 days until my birthday and Im kind of excited but not really.. According to my mom, Ive already gotten everything shes going to be giving me and I have no idea what Im getting from my grandparents.. hopefully they're gonna be uber generous and give me money this year... I got a cedar hope chest from the last year for my birthday so who knows.. I have to remember to call my Uncle Mickey on the 24th and wish him a happy birthday. I know.. we share the same birthday, innit cool? haha

So while I was at work yesterday or sometime yesterday, I got a phone call from Kohl's inviting me to come to their job booth to hear about the part time positions. I really want to work somewhere other then Macys but I dont want to miss out on the Holiday commish at Macys by leaving now. I wonder if they'll let me come to Kohl's in January.. hmmm... I dunno. I guess i'll go and see what the part time position is all about first of all then I'll decide... I might go now if it means more hours and theres commission.

I had heard from Kohls earlier in the month... I'd gotten a letter that said "Thank you for applying and interviewing with Kohls Department Stores. At this time we arent able to offer you a full time position. However, we would like to keep you in the running for a part-time position."

The only way Im leaving Macys to go to Kohls if if the part-time hours is at least 20-25 and if there is commission. Because I make 9.5/hr + commission at Macys and my top rate is 14.53.

So I haven't really had any inspiration to draw anything. I've started so many different projects lately but haven't been able to finish them. I need to kick myself into gear and get on it.. Really need to start updating more frequently.

Projects To Do ;;
01. Finish Lily & Severus Pixel drawing
02. Start up website
03. Draw & submit regularly
04. Draw something for a birthday present for friend
05. Maybe start taking commissions (but than that would mean actually getting my shit together and posting more so people can actually see what I can do *L*)

Pee.Ess ;; On a side note, I had an interview with Kohls last monday for the Full-time Sales Specialist position for Shoes and I havent heard anything negative yet so Im really hoping that I get it. Cause I srsly need more hours and more money so I can..

a. Pay off my credit card debt
b. Buy a new car
c. Save money
d. Move into my own apartment

Lots to accomplish but I know I can do it and it helps knowing someone thats going to be a manager there.

Pee. Ess. Ess ;; Well I need to get my tokus to bed cause I have to open at work tomorrow, which means I have to be up at 7am. XD but the good thing is that Im off at 5:45. woohoo

Wow... I can't believe I havent updated in almost a month. Not too much has been going on. I got my computer stuff back that night. My virus scan program ran for 5.5 hours and I had 9k+ infected files... basically all my registry stuff and files i need for the computer to run... it was all infected... but i got everything cleaned out and working... somewhat. I havent really been drawing lately... I'm trying to get bck into the swing of that though.. hopefully I'll have some stuff to update with here soon.

So I was online earlier today (like 3 hours ago to be precise) and my computer was working just fine. I had all my programs, fonts, brushes, graphics, documents. and now I come home from going to a movie with my mom and my computer is back to factory settings M I N U S all of my stuff. I even did a system restore back to June 23rd and it said it restored successfully but my stuff is still gone and I mean everything that Ive had on my computer since getting it in 2002 is G O N E.

just a small list of stuff
- fonts (like 700 in addition to what came on my computer)
- graphics (icons, banners, layouts, celeb pics, photos of my family i'll never have on my computer, icons/banners/layouts that ive requested from people, pics of friends that i'll never get back)
- brushes (psp, adobe ps, & adobe ps cs 2)
- documents (layout codes, graphic codes, stories ive written, letters from people i'll never see again, chatlogs)

I have the ultimate of bare necessities left on my computer right now. hopefully i can get what viruses that i have on here off and i'll have all my stuff back.


sooooo

that means Im going on a bit of a hiatus.
